There are two kinds of Photographers: Those who see things as they are; and those who see things as they could be.
My friend Tom took a picture of me the other day and said, “How do you like it?”
I said, “That’s good but it could be better.”
He said, “How’s that possible?”
I said,
“Look at the blotchy skin,
Look at the jowls,
Look at the sneer,
Look at the loose turtleneck.”
He said, “That’s the way you are, get used to it.”
I said, “Not any more, Tom. With Photoshop now I can see me as I could be.”

for beginners
Here is some information I have found helpful in starting to learn about all the possibilities of the new media crashing down down on our old fashion heads. Gary Vaynerchuk's new book, "Crush It" is amazing in giving the global view and suggesting sources for specific info. His enthusiasm is infectious--he must be a terrific motivational speaker.
A long ago friend found my name in the Ethernet and contacted me with an offer to help and some very interesting links like this one: http://searchwarp.com/swa263366.htm.
But I think Nicolette's blog is a model for many of us to use as a guide although few of us are as good a writer. See what you think. http://nicolettet.wordpress.com/2009/09/16/of-scruples-scams-divas-and-my-evil-twin/

Must view from Bill Moyers
Here is a video that tells of the lack of government oversite of the financial industry and suggests what needs to be done by an administration that promised change.
